Can you tell us more about yourself?
I was born and grew up in this beautiful area of the Veluwe. I am 34 years old and live with my family (wife and four young children) in the municipality of Renkum.
In my free time I am someone who likes to do odd jobs around the house and in the garden.
I am a person of sometimes not many words who likes to think in solutions. From the service offers a patient and listening ear, who knows how to convert complaints / reports into a technically identifiable (described) problem.
How did you end up at BigBrother and what steps did you take within the company?
In 2002 I got to know BigBrother because I could do my internship here. I did that from a secondary vocational educationcourse in Computer and interface technology, a training track from electrical engineering. Here I gained my knowledge in small electronics, printed circuit board design and writing different programming languages. A nice combination that I could also apply to my model railroad at the time.
Which aspect of your work do you like the most?
From a place as a trainee, I have been able to see in many ways how BigBrother has developed. In practice I learned a lot about installing PumpWatch. I was able to quickly apply my technical affinities by setting off with our engineers.
A fterthat period I worked within the R&D department, in sales as a technical draftsman. For a longer period of time I have been part of our Service & Maintenance department.
What are your goals for the coming year?
Next year I will use my knowledge and experience more for service questions that require more research and expertise. By acting as a second line on the Service Desk, I can focus more on the more complex questions from the customer. Ultimately, this should help the customer faster.
